Home Station Reimbursement

The Board of Finance may authorize per diem reimbursement for a qualifying state-business event that continues through an entire meal period without interruption.

Qualifying Events

Eligibility

Under South Dakota Codified Law 3-9-2.2, the Board may authorize per diem reimbursement for a state officer or employee who conducts state business at an event that extends entirely through a meal time without interruption, even when the officer or employee is not away from their home station.
